The Chi family faces new obstacles while strengthening the bonds that make their community more than a neighborhood. Season 6 will release on August 4th as part of the Paramount+ with SHOWTIME plan.
The Chi, from Emmy® winner Lena Waithe, is a coming-of-age narrative set on Chicago’s South Side. This season, Emmett manages his new business, Victor navigates the publicization of his private life, and Kevin determines what type of guy he wants to be.
On an ordinary day on Chicago’s south side, children prepare for school as their parents go to work, young adults struggle to make ends meet, and the elderly keep an eye on things from their front porches. But in this harsh neighborhood, actual risks threaten to crush hopes on a daily basis, and even the simplest actions can have life-or-death repercussions.
Jacob Latimore, Alex Hibbert, Yolonda Ross, Shamon Brown Jr., Michael V. Epps, Curtiss Cook, Luke James, and Birgundi Baker are among the cast members.
