1. You were schooled by some of the most iconic people in the business. But, what made you decide to have a career in the arts, specifically, acting?

It comes from the Heart … Literally the Heart (Arts Academy)  where I started studying under Emmy Award winning Actress Mrs. Vernae Watson. She told my parents that “I got it”. My mom had been approached before asking if I wanted to act, but she always turned it down. She waited until I was older to see if it was something I wanted to do. When I got a taste of acting at the Heart there was no turning back. I told my parents that I wanted to give it a try, and here I am today.

2. As a young actress, who are your greatest influences and why?

Marsai Martin. Not only she became the youngest executive producer in Hollywood. She also encourages to stay confident in believing in yourself and follow your dreams and that’s what I live by. 

3. Let’s talk about your character on the Netflix series, Day Shift premiering in August? 

My character is Paige whose playing the daughter of Bud and Jocelyn played by Mr Jamie Foxx and Ms. Meagan Good. Bud is a hard working father who disguise himself as pool guy, but really hunting vampires to collect their vangs in exchange for money to help provide for his daughter. It’s a whole lot of action, horror, and humor which is a must see!   

4. How did you prepare for the role?

I try to understand the character first before anything else . Once I feel like I know who she is , then I memorize the lines after that. 

5. What was it like working with Academy & Grammy award winning singer/actor, Jamie Foxx & Meagan Good?

A blessing to work with such great actors and studying them while working on the set, had some teachable moments for me. They kept the set laughing and dancing…and I just feel honor to be around amazing group of people from production to the cast. 

6. Congrats on your first lead role in BET’s movie, Holly Day. You were under 10 and achieved such a milestone. What your immediate reaction when you heard about your lead role in the film?

Thank you. I was so excited and nervous at the same time that gave me butterflies, for it being my first featured film. But with spent time and being around an awesome cast my butterflies quickly went away.

7. What’s your favorite film or television genre and why? 

I have so many favorite movies where it’s so hard to only choose one, but would say that I love to laugh so anything comedy with action! is a must watch for me lol.

8. What are your upcoming projects for the remainder of 2022?

So Day Shift, Netflix August 12th is with an all star cast with Mr Jamie Foxx , Ms Meagan Good, Mr Dave Franco and Mr Snoop Dogg directed by one of the best Directors Mr JJ Perry is a must see!! 

Also I’m honored to played one of the characters Transformers Earthspark Mo on Nickelodeon & Paramount Plus so please stay tuned for that this year! 

And along with a few other projects that I’m currently working on at the moment that I must keep on hush for now
