New BET+ Original Series ‘Angel’ Premieres Today

BET Networks is starting the new year with an explosive new original series. The drama Angel follows the hard knock life of Angel Alvarez, an underprivileged youth who escapes foster care after years of abuse. Yet, her battle for survival is only beginning. She must grow up fast, being submerged into a ruthless life of crime to make it in the streets. The talented cast consists of Efrangeliz Medina, Elise Neal, Iyana Halley, Michele ‘Siya’ Sherman, Lana ‘MC Lyte’ Moorer, EJ King, Manny World, Jadah Blue, Nize, Jeremy Weaver, and Malcolm D. Kelley.
The series will take us on a journey through the unforgiving street life and a young girl’s struggle to keep her head above water. How much more betrayal can a fragile heart take before her pain becomes revenge? In this urban tale, “even an angel turns into a beast.” Her life thus far has taught her to be cautious with her trust, and she will protect those she loves by any means necessary.
Jamal Hill directed the new drama series. Yolanda Halley and Manny Halley produced it. Angel premieres today, Thursday, January 5, on BET+.

I just binge watch the episodes of Angel and I’m hooked. The writing is original and suspenseful. I give the actors a 10 out of 10. This show have me wanting more. I can’t wait until the next episode. My favorite show of 2023. Thanks BET+

That’s what I am saying!! Since it dropped on a Thursday, I thought maybe new episodes would be on Thursday like All the Queens Men. But here I am, checking every hour and nothing 🙁 PLEASE drop more episodes!! This cannot be it!

I don’t think it’s fair you introduce this show and then put the viewers on pause, it would be awesome if you would continue three episodes is not enough for a urban tale such as this
