‘Luther: The Fallen Sun’ Is Streaming on Netflix

Have you checked out Luther: The Fallen Sun yet? Idris Elba is back as rebellious London detective John Luther. The film is a continuation of the popular Netflix original crime thriller series that won Elba an Emmy. His supporting cast includes Cynthia Erivo, Andy Serkis, Dermot Crowley, Thomas Coombes, Hattie Morahan, Lauryn Ajufo, and Vincent Regan.

At the end of season 5 of Luther, detective John was arrested. The film picks up where season 5 left off, with him “breaking out of prison to hunt down a sadistic serial killer who is terrorizing London,” according to the synopsis.
