Apple TV+ is excited to show a behind-the-scenes look at the upcoming eight-part drama series “The Changeling,” with star and executive producer LaKeith Stanfield (“Atlanta,” “Judas and the Black Messiah,” “The Harder They Fall”) and co-star Clark Backo (“Letterkenny,” “The Handmaid’s Tale,” “Station Eleven”). Based on Victor LaValle’s best-selling book of the same name, “The Changeling” will have its world premiere on Apple TV+ on September 8, 2023, with three episodes. Each week until October 13, a new episode will be released.

“The Changeling” is an adult fairy tale. A scary story, a story about being a parent, and a dangerous journey through a part of New York City you didn’t know existed. The series also features Adina Porter, Samuel T. Herring, Alexis Louder, Jared Abrahamson, and Malcolm Barrett as a special surprise star.

The series was written and adapted by Kelly Marcel (“Cruella,” “Venom,” and “Venom: Let There Be Carnage”), who was also the writer and an executive producer. Melina Matsoukas (“Queen & Slim,” “Insecure”) directed and was also an executive producer.

Apple Studios and Annapurna are in charge of making the show. Executive producers for Annapurna are Megan Ellison, Sue Naegle, Patrick Chu, and Ali Krug. Through her company, De La Revolution Films, Matsoukas is an executive producer, and Khaliah Neal is also an executive producer.
