BACK ON THE STRIP | NEW TRAILER FEAT. WESLEY SNIPES, TIFFANY HADDISH, SPENCE MOORE, FAIZON LOVE, BILL BELLAMY AND MORE

In the film “Back on the Strip,” the resilient and strong-willed Verna (played by Tiffany Haddish) decides to send her son Merlin (portrayed by Spence Moore, known for his role in Creed III) to Las Vegas. Verna is determined to assist Merlin in achieving his aspirations of becoming a professional magician, despite his heartbreak. However, Merlin’s life takes an unexpected turn when he has a fortuitous encounter with Mr. Big (played by Wesley Snipes) at a dilapidated hotel. Mr. Big was the leader of a formerly renowned group of Black male strippers called “The Chocolate Chips,” which also included JB Smoove, Faizon Love, Bill Bellamy, and Gary Owen.

This encounter propels Merlin into a new and unfamiliar realm of attention. Merlin is in a race against time to win back his girl and assist the out-of-shape and out-of-sync “Chips” in rediscovering their groove. Along the way, he will realize that he possesses all the necessary magic tricks. The film features Raigan Harris and Colleen Camp in prominent roles, and also includes a special cameo appearance by the renowned Kevin Hart. Chris Spencer, who co-wrote the screenplay with Eric Daniel, is making his directorial debut. The film is produced by a talented team including Geno Taylor, Missy Valdez, Wesley Snipes, Tiffany Haddish, Chris Spencer, Eric Daniel, Elie Samaha, Donald Kushner, and Jeru Tillman.
